Registered Manager VACANCY FILLED

Main function of the role:

To provide leadership of the administration, care, and people management functions of The Service.

To create, manage and execute the needs of the service, to meet the needs of local clients, supported within the community.

To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing The Service, and selling its services at the agreed prices.

To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider.

To maintain support and management skills at the current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.

To manage the services within The Service in accordance with standards agreed with the Person Registered, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices.

Management of the organisation:

Main Duties include, but not limited to;

  • Create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive culture, that transpires in excellence of service delivery.

  • Participate in the development of our client base, conducting assessments, seeking referrals and creating new projects and placements.

  • Share in the development of strategic plans

  • Develop, improve and expand the operational information systems.

  • Ensure we operate within all regulatory and legal parameters.

  • Promote both business performance and efficiency, working towards meeting budgets and targets

  • Target "Outstanding" rating by CQC

Management of the Human Resources, including, but not limited to;

  • Specify, recruit, select and train employees, in numbers agreed with the Provider, and at a cost which is agreed with the Provider, not exceeding the agreed staff budget.

  • Develop a master plan rota to comply with statutory requirements and the satisfaction of ongoing Service User needs, and which meets the financial targets of the service.

  • Implement and evaluate the orientation and induction of all new employees.

Management of support Services, including but not limited to;

  • Assess the effectiveness of support implementation and delivery.

  • Implement action to meet and maintain support standards.

  • Encourage a model of self-care and Service User rehabilitation.

  • Evaluate Care Plans.

Qualifications required:

This post requires a minimum of NVQ Level 4 in Adults health and social care and a willingness to undertake an NVQ Level 5 in adults health and social care.

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence

  • Care Managers: 2 years (preferred)

  • NVQ Level 4 Certification (preferred)

Package:

Job Type: Full-time

  • Salary: From £30,000.00 per year
  • Management Performance Bonus

Working hours:

  • Nominally 40 hours per week, subject to the needs of the business. The Manager will be expected to maintain an on-call facility, in conjunction with a senior team already in place.

  • Variable mileage rate 35p per mile (70p per mile when transporting colleagues)
